چکیده

MicroR-146 (miR-146) plays crucial roles in attenuating nerve injury during cerebral ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury. The purpose of this study was to investigate the neuroprotective effect miR-146 against I/R Rat model established using 4-vessel occlusion and reperfusion. In study, expression significantly decreased neurons rat compared sham group. addition, miR-146+/+ inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress, neuron cell apoptosis infarct size rats (p<0.05). Transfection reduced apoptosis, autophagy autophagy-related proteins LC-3, Beclin-1 increased p62 cells control Furthermore, overexpression indicated directly targeting NF-κB activating PI3K/AKT/mTOR cells. conclusion, these findings suggested that could protect by NF-κB-mediated signaling pathway, which offered a potential molecular for treatment

Brazilin exerts protective effects against renal ischemia-reperfusion injury by inhibiting the NF-κB signaling pathway

Renal ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury is associated with high morbidity and mortality as there is currently no available effective therapeutic strategy with which to treat this injury. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigate the potential protective effects of brazilin, a major active component of the Chinese medicine Caesalpinia sappan L., against renal I/R injury in vitro and in vivo...

Curcumin protects against hepatic ischemia/reperfusion induced injury through inhibiting TLR4/NF-κB pathway

The TLR4/NF-κB pathway had important roles in hepatic ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. In this study, we reported a protective effect of curcumin against hepatic I/R injury via TLR4/NF-κB pathway. Curcumin significantly inhibited cell apoptosis, and decreased levels of LDH and production of TNF-a, IL-1b, and IL-6 in the cell supernatant. In addition, curcumin ameliorated elevated TLR4 and NF-...

Daphnetin Protects against Cerebral Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury in Mice via Inhibition of TLR4/NF-κB Signaling Pathway

Growing evidences indicate that immune-mediated mechanisms contribute to the development of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. Daphnetin (DAP) is a coumarin derivative extracted from Daphne odora var., which displays anti-inflammatory properties. However, the effect of DAP on cerebral I/R injury is not yet clear. Recent studies have demonstrated that TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway takes ...

Combination of apigenin and ischemic postconditioning protects against renal ischemia/reperfusion injury in rat by inhibiting TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway

Purpose: To investigate the effect and possible mechanism of combination of apigenin and ischemic post conditioning on renal ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. Materials and methods: Fifty rats were randomly separated into 5 groups: (1) sham-operation groups: a midline laparotomy was performed only; (2) I/R group: rats were underwent 45 min of renal ischemia; (3) apigenin group: rats was subj...

Picroside II protects rat kidney against ischemia/reperfusion-induced oxidative stress and inflammation by the TLR4/NF-κB pathway

Picroside II possesses a wide range of pharmacological effects and has been demonstrated to ameliorate cerebral ischemia and reperfusion (I/R) injury. However, its effects on renal I/R injury remain unclear. In the present study, the role of picroside II in attenuating oxidative stress and the inflammatory response in a rat model of renal I/R injury was investigated. Sprague Dawley rats were su...
